It took me a few days to realize this, but this is actually East Jerusalem and then farther back in the picture is the West Bank..I believe the concrete wall marks the 1948 Armistice Line where Israel is building a wall

This tree stands outside one of the main cafés on campus and commemorates a bombing that happened only 7 years ago
